You don’t need to touch a wrench, and you definitely don’t need to figure out how to drain 400 pounds of wet sand by yourself.
How It Works
- Book online — $179 flat for portable, $279 for in-ground.
- We text the night before with your assigned pickup day, within 7 days of booking.
- Leave it where it stands if it’s reachable from the driveway or curb. We disassemble and haul between 8 AM and 6 PM — pole, backboard, rim, base, hardware. All of it.

What’s Included
- On-site disassembly of one residential basketball goal
- Removal of pole, backboard (acrylic, polycarbonate, glass, or fiberglass), rim, net, and mounting hardware
- Portable: we drain the sand or water base for you — you don’t have to move it or empty it first
- In-ground: pole cut flush at grade so nothing is left sticking up to trip on or mow around
- Steel pole and rim go to scrap recycling; backboard and base to landfill
- We bring our own wrenches, saws, and PPE
What’s NOT Included
- We don’t dig out or bust up the buried concrete footing on in-ground goals — the pole gets cut at grade and the footing stays
- We don’t patch or resurface the driveway or concrete pad where the pole came out
- No roof-mounted or garage-mounted goals — driveway and yard installs only
- We don’t enter fully fenced backyards with locked gates — unlock it or move the goal to the front
- If the backboard is already shattered, that’s fine — but loose glass and debris piles around it cost extra

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I have to empty the sand or water base first?
No. That’s the worst part of the job and it’s the part we’re actually here for. We drain it on site. Leave it exactly where it is.
My goal is set in concrete. Can you still take it?
Yes — that’s the $279 in-ground option. We cut the pole flush at ground level and haul off everything above it. The concrete footing under the surface stays put. If you need the footing dug out too, that’s a different job and we’re not the right call for it.
How long does it take?
About 30 minutes for a portable, closer to an hour for an in-ground pole. You don’t need to be home. We just need to reach the goal from the street or driveway.
What if the backboard is glass?
No problem. Tempered glass backboards come off intact when we can manage it and get broken down safely when we can’t. Either way it leaves with us.
How fast can you actually pick up?
Within 7 days of booking, every time. You get a text the night before so you know exactly when it’s happening — no all-day waiting window.
Can you take a goal I’m giving away or selling?
If nobody claimed it, yes. Plenty of these sit on the curb for weeks with no takers. Book the pickup and it’s gone this week instead.
